Meat wholesale suppliers are a great source of meat for your restaurant, catering service or retail food business. The best way to find a good source of meat is to go to the source yourself and ask questions. Don’t buy from a wholesaler who charges too much for the meat because they don’t want you to know the quality and quantity that’s in each bag.
Tips When Looking For Meat Wholesale Suppliers
If you can only afford a few bags at a time then you will need a company that supplies a large variety of meats and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for each one. This can be an extremely hard task to find, so keep your eyes open, be patient and be sure to ask a lot of questions. You don’t want to get ripped off, but you want to be sure that they are honest with you’re not just buying a product because they want to make more money. You should also ask them how they ship the product, do they have a freezer, refrigerator and/or can you pick up the package directly from the processor?
Look for companies that are reputable, don’t deal with companies that you’ve never heard of, don’t give your name to a company that isn’t reputable, don’t buy from companies that are shipping overseas, look for companies with reviews and customer satisfaction. You may also want to find out if they have a minimum order requirement. If a company has a minimum order requirement it’s because they have to have a minimum amount of stock or they can’t keep their prices low enough for your customers. The easiest way to find out if they have a minimum order requirement is to ask. If the wholesale supplier you’re looking for doesn’t have a minimum order requirement or don’t seem interested in answering questions about their shipping policies, don’t buy from them. They might not be the best for you!
